Alfie joined Ballantyne Country Club in June of 2020. Alfie is from Melbourne, Australia and came to the United States to play Collegiate Tennis in the State of Oklahoma. Alfie had an outstanding collegiate career where he was 3 Time All-American and a 3 Time ITA All -American. In 2003 he led his team to a National Championship as player and captain and one of his most outstanding achievements was as a Junior and Senior, he went undefeated in singles play with a record of 64-0 which is a college record. Alfie was also a finalist for Arthur Ashe award from Leadership and Sportsmanship in 2004.

Alfie has an extensive background in the private club industry and loves the family atmosphere. Alfie was a Head Professional and Director of Tennis in Oklahoma for 13 years prior to coming to Charlotte. Alfie has been a USPTA Certified Professional for 10 years where he is active member. Alfie brings an extensive range of tennis knowledge to Ballantyne Country Club and is excited to share it with all the membership. Alfie also brings to us a love and passion for the Sport of Pickleball. Alfie was introduced to the sport of Pickleball 5 years ago and fell madly in love with the sports. He is a big fan and can't wait to grow Pickleball at the club. Alfie has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and in his free time he loves to hike in the mountains and go to the beach. Alfie is here for all your Tennis and Pickle needs and don't ever hesitate to contact him as he loves to chat about his love of Rackets sports.
