Assistant General Manage
Charlotte, North Carolina native, Jon Grooms, joined Ballantyne Country Club in March of 1998. Jon is primarily responsible for Ballantyne Country Club's Food and Beverage program. Jon began as a line cook for our kitchen, manager of the dining room, interned in our accounting office, and now is our Assistant General Manager. Jon graduated from the University of North Carolina Charlotte with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting. In 2018 Jon completed the Certified Club Manager Certification from the Club Management Association of America.
Jon is passionate about the hospitality industry and running the BCC Vintner's Club. In his free time, Jon enjoys running every day and playing flag-football on the weekends.
