Qualanda was born and raised in North Carolina. She moved to Charlotte in 2011 to study Culinary Art and Food Service Management at Johnson & Wales University. She graduated with a Bachelors in Culinary Arts and Food Service Management and a Masters in Business with a concentration in Hospitality. She has always been passionate about cooking and making people happy with her nostalgic meals. Throughout her years in Charlotte, she has been fortunate to work at some great restaurants and the Marriott hotel brand. Qualanda joined us after working as the Sous Chef at SouthPark Grill, assisting in the overall kitchen operations of the restaurant. Qualanda is excited to join the Ballantyne team and to help grow the Club’s Food and Beverage Department.
