Sean Smith, originally from Fuquay-Varina, joined the Ballantyne team in March of 2018 as an Assistant Tennis Professional. He is responsible for teaching Private/Group lessons and clinics for all ages. He helps run all events and any other member engagement as well as restringing. His favorite part about working at Ballantyne is working with a fantastic team that brings smiles to member's faces.
Prior to joining Ballantyne Sean was an assistant at North Hills Clun in Raleigh for 2 years. Sean attended Methodist University where he studied Professional Tennis Management (PTM) and has been in the industry teaching for almost 10 years. Sean loves to travel when he has the time and money, and his favorite food is pizza. He supports the Green Bay Packers, Carolina Hurricanes and Michigan State University. Sean has a cat named Izzo, he is a Ragamuffin style who loves people and takes walks like a dog.
